Our partner is looking for a talented Business Analyst to join their team as a contractor.

Your new role

- Performing the duties of Business Analyst for day-to-day banking systems
- Preparing technical and/or functional specifications from business requirements
- Documenting the developments made at the appropriate level
- Preparing and supporting reports and briefings
- Supporting the identification of errors and problems
- Providing process overview and documentation
- Liaise and collaborate with business and IT co-ordinators and suppliers

What you'll need to succeed

- Higher education in information technology and/or economics
- At least 3 years relevant professional experience in a financial institution
- Active intermediate knowledge of English
- Experience in workflow processes and troubleshooting between applications/systems (log, trace analysis)
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills
- Proficiency in the use of IT systems
- Proactive, decisive approach, ability to react quickly to changing priorities
- Systematic approach, accuracy
- Proficiency in data modelling software (e.g. Visio, drow.io. Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm)

Experience in one of the following subjects would be an advantage:

- Customer identification
- Retail passive products (accounts, savings)
- Cash flow
- SQL skills for Oracle database queries
- Agile methodology and product (Atlassian) knowledge
- Knowledge of banking processes
